Auburn MA Senior Photos – What to Expect for Your Senior Photo Experience

Auburn MA Senior Photos – I’ve decided to do a series of posts about the various sessions I offer and what to expect when you book with me. This week is about Senior Sessions. These have turned into some of my favorite sessions to photograph. It’s a crucial time in a high schooler’s life where they decide what’s next. Everyone of them is so different and unique, I love capturing them in this moment.

Pre-Session

I always send my Seniors a questionnaire. This helps me get to know them, learn what they want, and help figure out what kind of location would suit them best. Including them in the decision making helps make it more personalized to them. It also helps me learn about any activities that they like to do that we can incorporate into the session. A lot of Seniors know where they want their session, but if not, I always make sure to provide options. I like trying to go somewhere new so that everyone isn’t getting the same photos, but I also have some go-to spots that provide a lot of different backgrounds.

At this point, if you have any questions about outfits or anything, I’m just an email away. I also make sure that everyone has my cell number, in case anything comes up. I keep deadlines in mind when booking a date and also make sure to have a backup date in case of weather. If weather does get in the way, I’m always willing to reschedule.

The Session

Senior Sessions are one of the most fun sessions I do. We’ll move around to different parts of the location you choose and get a variety of poses on a variety of backgrounds. Having a parent or friend present is always welcome. The Senior feels a little more relaxed and conversation usually flows more easily. By the end, we’re both having a blast.

Post-Session

After the session, I send you a gallery in 7-10 days. The gallery is password protected and I encourage you to share with friends and family. A cart is built into the gallery to choose prints, canvases, and more right from there. You can also choose favorites and share them to me for other goodies. Once I know you’ve seen the images, I share them on Instagram/Facebook and usually write a blog featuring your session.
