Rustic Boston Wedding – Chelcie + Dan
Rustic Boston Wedding – Chelcie + Dan
Chelcie + Dan got married at the Old Mill in Westminster, MA for their Rustic Boston Wedding. Like every other day in May, it was raining my whole drive to the venue. Fortunately for Chelcie + Dan, however, just before the ceremony started, the skies cleared up and the sun came out to give the day a dreamy glow. It would have been beautiful either way, but I’m so happy they could have that little miracle for their special day.
It was an intimate wedding full of spring colors. The theme was British Tea Party and there were soft purples and greens everywhere. Chelcie + Dan got married under a birch archway and it was a breathtaking sight as they said their vows overlooking the pond.
After the ceremony, we walked the grounds together and took some stunning portraits. They had liked some photos I had done a few years prior at the same venue and we did our best to give them their own spin on those shots.
Chelcie + Dan were both very down to earth and their love for each other was bright and apparent. The love of their family who came to celebrate them was also easy to see. They also all came out in the best hats and fascinators to really pull the whole theme together. Everything was so beautiful.
We made our way through the covered bridges and gorgeous landscapes and stopped along the way to celebrate their love. As we made our way into the reception area, I marveled at the details they created for their day. I’m obsessed with their centerpieces (teapots), but also the bride shared her tea cup collection with her family as favors. In the end, they couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.
