Red Apple Farm – Jarrod’s Senior Session
Jarrod’s Senior Session was at the Red Apple Farm in Phillipston, MA. The day before had rained, so the temperature was a little more comfortable than a typical August day. It was bright, sunny, and full of awesome clouds that we used to our advantage. We couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather as we began our senior portrait journey.
Red Apple Farm
Jarrod is a super sweet guy. He was super into his photos and had a lot of good ideas about what he wanted. I love that! We had so much fun finding different facets of the farm to explore. It’s been a blast getting to know this year’s seniors and finding out what they aspire to be. They’ve all been incredibly smart, down to earth people and Jarrod is no different. He’s looking forward to majoring in nursing and taking care of people. We discussed our favorite TV shows and found common favorites among Parks and Rec., the Office, and Grey’s Anatomy (admittedly, I stopped watching the last one ages ago).
Jarrod is very into farms and has spent a good amount of time at this one in particular. He told me about how he enjoys coming here with his friends in the fall. The fall is the only time I’ve been there, it’s truly a wonderful place. We started the session next to a red farm house to get some classic red barn photos in. From there, we leaned against fences, explored the apple orchards, and walked along rows and rows of blueberry bushes.
We ended the session at the Old Mill in Westminster, MA. We peeked through covered bridges and sat next to the pond. The sun glowed through the trees and illuminated everything perfectly. We really couldn’t have asked for better conditions.
