Pats Peak Wedding Photographer – Rosie + Donny
Pats Peak Wedding Photographer – Rosie + Donny
Rosie + Donny were the first of two weddings back to back days in September (with another engagement session thrown in, too). I wasn’t sure if I would ultimately survive that weekend, but here I am! Haha. What’s even better is I feel really good about how everything came out.
Rosie + Donny’s wedding was beautiful. Everything was at Pat’s Peak in Henniker, NH, which was beautiful and scenic. I’ve known Rosie for a few years and I had a wonderful time meeting her girls and her (now) husband. The bridal party was so excited to spend the day with these two and celebrate their love.
The grounds had so many beautiful spots for photos and all the dresses were gorgeous and really felt like a natural compliment to the scenery. Rosie’s bridesmaids were so sweet and just wanted Rosie to have the most perfect day. We found great spots for group photos and some that made Rosie look like the queen she is.
The guys were also so fun and there were so many (especially compared to the girls). They also were focused on having fun with Donny and their suits looked so nice with the greenery. The excitement was palpable and everyone was eager for the fun to begin.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was outside and the guests had an amazing view of the mountain in the background. Rosie has a very personal story I won’t get into, but walked down the aisle with Donny’s mom. Everything was picture perfect (lucky me)!
The Reception
After the ceremony, we headed to the Pat’s Peak sleigh room. This room is a slice of winter/Christmas at every time of the year. There are lights strung up and everything feels warm and comfortable. It was a beautiful space and Rosie + Donny looked straight out of a fairy tail with lights glowing all around them as they dance.
There was so much love in the room. Family had little ones running around and when the time came, everyone danced. We did a few giant photos at the end of the night, but it was so hard leaving the dance floor.
In the end, I was glad to share in this celebration with Rosie + Donny. Rosie has already told me how they want an anniversary session and I’m so happy to keep making these memories for them! Congratulations Rosie + Donny!
