Elizabeth Park Engagement Session – Rhi + Dan
I met Rhiannon + Dan back in October when we booked their wedding photography. These two were so sweet from the start and got a jump on booking their engagement session. Their Elizabeth Park engagement session in West Hartford was the perfect venue to showcase their love. I’ve been wanting to do photos there for awhile and I’m glad I finally got the chance.
Our session got rained out the first time, but our final date had perfect conditions (if a little chilly). Since it was the beginning of November, the flowers in the Rose Garden were mostly gone, but it was gorgeous nonetheless.
Their session was at the perfect time of day where the sun made everything glow. “Golden hour” is my favorite time to photograph in, but especially sessions that showcase love. I think it especially helps to make engagement and wedding photos special.
Rhiannon and Dan met at work. They seemed super friendly, but also a little quiet and reserved. It was clear during our session that they enjoy each other’s company. They were making each other laugh and helping the other feel comfortable. It was a fun experience to share.
Rhiannon and Dan plan on having a backyard wedding next October. Backyard weddings are a lot of fun and can be an extra special location for a wedding. This one is definitely one I’m looking forward to in the next year. Check out my wedding or engagement galleries for more like this and look forward to more of these two next year!
