This past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Lauren & Pat’s wedding. I’m eagerly sifting through their photos, but I also finally get to post their engagement session! They didn’t want to spoil them before the wedding, but we can share now! The Drake Hill Flower Bridge was such a fun find. It’s a spot Lauren & Pat love and incorporated into their wedding day also. It was fun getting to know them and hanging out on this bridge.
Drake Hill Flower Bridge Engagement Session
Engagement sessions are always a fun way to get to know a couple. Lauren & Pat are super fun and super sweet. They laugh together and they have fun together. The Drake Hill Flower Bridge isn’t a big area, but it provided a lot of fun backdrops.
It was a hot and humid day, but we made the most of it.
Pat is quiet and reserved while Lauren is bubbly and outgoing. They both have a great sense of humor and a great love for each other. I’m also OBSESSED with the color of Pat’s shirt. Along with the flowers, everything just pops so well.
Someone (or some people??) take meticulous care of this bridge. There are flowers hung and groomed along the sides in all colors and varieties. The bride overlooks a river and the whole area is cute and scenic. As the sun went down, we also noticed lights hung in the frame of the bridge.
The session was a great precursor to the wedding that followed. I’m excited for the result and can’t wait to share!
