Colonial Hotel Wedding, Gardner, MA – Amanda & Matt
Very excited to share with you my first solo wedding [I have photographed several weddings, just always as a second shooter, this is my first by myself]! Married on 9.14.13, this Colonial Hotel Wedding, Gardner, MA was so much fun for me to photograph.
This wedding had so may fun details, including three choices for shoes!
The bride was beautiful and these two kids were watching Batman while she was getting ready.
The Ceremony
The bride got picked up at the back of the Colonial Hotel [Gardner, MA] and was driven to the front, where the ceremony was taking place. Arriving in style!
These shots by the window are some of my favorites from the whole day. Such amazing lighting.
The Reception
Again, the details. They also asked me to make this thumbprint rose bush for them. I was also pretty happy with how that came out.
Amanda’s family has a tradition of singing “Sweet Caroline” at events and everyone was arm-in-arm.
The night ended with Amanda’s bridesmaids surprising her with shirts they made that said how long they had known her. It was very sweet and a great end to the night.
