Ariella + Dan’s Barn at Wight Farm Wedding was one of my favorite weddings of the season! I met Ariella and Dan last fall for their engagement session at Wickham Park. They were both so kind and warm. As we moved through the session, their love for each other was evident and I was so excited for the following August.
Barn at Wight Farm Wedding – Ariella + Dan
I love being apart of a couple’s getting ready portion of the day. Ariella and Dan were each surrounded by their inner circle. It was clear their friends and family cared for them so much and everyone was in their element as the day began.
Before the ceremony, we did something a little different. Ariella + Dan wanted to do a First Look, but one where Dan approached Ariella instead of the other way around. During the First Look, they read letters that they prepared for each other. It was such a personal, emotional, and intimate moment. The love they felt for each other was palpable – it was such a raw, beautiful moment. The Barn provided the perfect backdrop and private little nook where they could have their quiet moment. I’m so privileged to have witnessed this with them.
After the first look, the rest was a piece of cake. We walked around the picturesque grounds with the whole wedding party. There is truly no inch of this venue that wasn’t beautiful.
The ceremony area was gorgeous. It was decorated with greenery and lights and soon became filled with honored guests. The wood interior and lights made the room feel magical and warm. Ariella + Dan exchanged tearful vows in the presence of their incredibly supportive family and friends.
As Ariella + Dan had their first dance and handed the attention off to various speakers, it was clear the room was filled with love. Both Ariella and Dan had family members who had passed away, but their presence was felt in that room that night.
It was amazing getting to know these two and experience the happiest day of their lives. Congratulations Ariella + Dan and best wishes for many years to come!
